Pleasant Echoes of War

I was reading another article on the BBC website when I saw this out of the corner of my eye: Tourists evoke wartime memories. I was kind of tired, and the first thing that went through my mind was that it might be a D-Day reenactment or something similar. What I found instead was a short but interesting article about a dancing waiter, an old woman with a hundred hats, and the reprinting of a military guide to France.
